We are a small operation, very much family based. This means our customers are dealt with as people not numbers, by people not computers.
Our aim, simply put, is to supply the freshest produce possible for the best possible price. To achieve this we try to keep things as local and seasonal as possible.
Let’s face it, Kent has wonderful produce, so you would be crazy not to use it! If we can get organic or chemical free we do, but this is much harder to find on a reliable basis. We buy on the basis that good quality produce only grows in a well cared for environment.
With this in mind, we pay attention to quality assurance marks like the Red Tractor and LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming). Most of our regulars return because the produce is fresh enough to keep its flavour and to keep well, if stored properly. You will find cheaper produce, but ours won’t grow fur overnight, so you only have to buy it once!
